FORNEY INDUSTRIES SECURES TRADEMARK FOR GREEN WELDING AND PLASMA CUTTING MACHINES

July 06, 2022

Fort Collins, CO – Forney Industries is proud to announce their federally registered trademark of green welding and plasma cutting machines. This is viewed by the company as a major victory, as it is a pivotal step in securing recognition as a leader in the welding and plasma cutting category. Headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, the company was founded in 1932 and introduced the first publicly available arc welder in the 1940s.

When asked to comment on the expectations of Forney green machines, Steve Anderson, President and CEO explains, “It is our vision that when people see Forney green, they understand it represents a product that has been intentionally engineered to meet the high expectations our company has upheld since 1932. We know that our customers associate green with quality and trust, as that has been our promise for almost a century and counting.”

Forney Industries has worked tirelessly to secure this trademark, as the company desires Forney green to symbolize everything that their products stand for— trust, dependability, and service. With the help of Forney’s Expert-Tech technical service team, Forney Industries has developed these top-of-the-line green machines to reflect the quality and determination the company was founded on in 1932.

Danielle Hillebrand, Executive Coordinator & Project Manager at Forney Industries was instrumental in securing this trademark. Hillebrand remarks, “For 90 years, Forney Industries has evolved its brand to reflect the demands of its customers. Our customers have come to count on the green machines we sell as indicators of quality, value, and long-lasting dependability.

With this federal registration, Forney can continue to provide our customers with what they know: recognizable green machines that will exceed their expectations every time.”

Forney Industries is one of America’s longest operating family-owned tool, equipment and accessory product companies. Today, Forney offers thousands of metalworking products within four categories: welding, abrasives, personal protective equipment and shop tools.
