Forney Industries Names Fourth Generation Leader, Dane Anderson, as President
Forney Industries, Inc., Fort Collins, CO, April 14, 2026 – Forney Industries, one of America’s longest running family-owned welding and metalworking companies has announced the promotion of Dane Anderson from Chief Operating Officer to President and COO.
Dane Anderson succeeds his father, Steve Anderson, who formerly has held the position for 19 years and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and CEO. Under Steve’s leadership, Forney Industries has expanded its footprint in North America, strengthened customer partnerships and achieved record growth through innovation and operational excellence.

Dane Anderson, the fourth generation of the Forney/Anderson family to serve in the leadership of Forney Industries, joined the company in 2016 as Regional Sales Manager and has had roles of increasing responsibility in operations and management.
