How do I place an order online?

If you are a Forney dealer, there are four ways to place an order online. We recommend uploading your order using a .csv file (what's a .csv file?).


You can also quickly add SKUs (item numbers) to your cart using the Quick Add feature in the green navigation bar - this feature allows you to enter a known item number, tap Tab on your keyboard to enter the quantity, then tap Enter on your keyboard to add it to your cart. 


Another way to create an order is to go to My Account > Orders and click the re-order button to populate your cart with items from a past order. You'll then be taken to your cart to adjust quantities or remove items as needed.


Note:You must be logged in (and have selected a location if you manage multiple accounts) to use these features.

How do I manage multiple locations from my account?

If you use the same login (email) to manage multiple store locations, you can select a location after logging in by selecting Return to your account near the top of your screen, then select a location to manage. You must select a location prior to placing any order or browsing products.


How do I update my account information or reset my password?

You can reset your password here. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.


If you are a Forney dealer, you must contact to update your profile information (address, email/username, name, etc.).


If you have a personal account, you're able to update your address information by logging in selecting My Account > My Profile. You'll need to contact to update your username/email.

How do I create an account?

If you are a Forney dealer, you need to contact us at or 1-800-521-6038, or contact your sales representative to set up online ordering.

I can't see any products, what do I do?

If you can't see any products when you click or tap the product categories (Welding, Abrasives, Safety, Shop Tools) in the green bar near the top of the screen, you most likely manage multiple locations from one login. You need to select a location prior to browsing for products or placing orders. Do this by selecting Return to your account or My Account near the top of your screen, then Select Account to select  a location to manage.



If you are not logged in or only manage one location and are still unable to see products, please contact with your account number, the email you're using to login with, and your web browser type (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.).  

Can I use Internet Explorer to visit

No, Internet Explorer is no longer a supported web browser. Microsoft stopped supporting anything earlier than Internet Explorer 11 around 2016 – they highly encourage using Microsoft Edge instead. You may experience significant obstacles when attempting to visit from Internet Explorer. We recommend that you switch to a current, supported browser (some options listed below). We cannot assist with issues that occur from using an outdated web browser.

Where can I find product resources like manuals or spec sheets?

Where can I find product safety data sheets?

From any product detail page, you can find that product’s safety data sheet (SDS) in the Resources tab if applicable. When you click on an SDS document, it will download as a .pdf file. You can also find SDS here.

How do I get my Greenback rebate?

What is California Proposition 65?

California's Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if those products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels. Find out more here.

Where can I find tracking information?

Find tracking information for all of your Forney orders by logging in and clicking on My Account > Orders. See the screenshot below:


UPS offers a free advanced notification service to customers receiving Forney packages. UPS My Choice® for Business is a free service that offers initial ship and delivery notifications without requiring a tracking number. This service provides the following conveniences for each customer:


  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments with interactive, real-time dashboards
  • Find tracking numbers, number of packages per shipment, sales order IDs and Forney ship dates
  • Receive estimated delivery windows and notifications
  • Add multiple users within the customer's company
  • Self-register online with a business address

How do I make a secure payment?

If you are a Forney dealer, you can make a secure payment to Forney Industries through this form. 

Why is there an error on my order or invoice summary?

If you are logged in and seeing an error in the My Account > Orders order detail or invoice detail page, please note that orders with cancelled items or a quantity discount may reflect incorrect amounts in the Unit price, Order discount, or Subtotal fields. If you are a non-tax-exempt customer, you may see errors in the Tax field.


Contact our Customer Experience team for a copy of your original order/invoice document(s), or refer to your original Forney order/invoice document(s).

How can I tell which items were cancelled off my order?

You can see cancellation information for your orders from My Account > Orders > Shipment Summary. See the screenshot below.
