Forney’s TruCut™ is a compact, 120-volt plasma cutter built for DIY, farm and ranch, maintenance, and light fabrication work. With inverter technology and a 20 amp output max, it delivers clean cuts up to 1/4 in and can sever up to 3/8 in. Featuring TruSet™ Plasma Control, users can choose between automatic and manual operation: enter material thickness and TruSet™ automatically selects the correct amperage for cleaner cuts and minimized kerf, or choose manual operation to adjust amperage output for custom control. With Drag Torch Technology and Pilot Arc, the TruCut™ maintains a stable arc across rusty, painted, or expanded metal once started, ensuring consistent cutting and easy restarts. Drag Torch Technology allows the operator to rest the torch tip directly on the work surface for steadier, more accurate cutting. A built-in regulator and moisture separator maintain clean, consistent air to extend consumable life. Compact at just 17.3 lbs and paired with a 13 ft (4 m) torch lead, the TruCut™ is generator friendly, CSA certified, and equipped with a bright, easy-to-read digital display.
