DESCRIPTION

Forney wire rope (also commonly referred to as aircraft cable) is expertly made in compliance with stringent industry standards to offer a fusion of a well-balanced design and high level of craftsmanship. It’s ideal for outdoor use as its durable vinyl coating is designed to withstand harsh environments. It’s excellent for DIY projects, hanging decorations, securing electrical wires around a patio or fence, other general-purpose tie-down applications, or to be used as safety fasteners.

This heavy-duty Forney wire rope is Type 7x7. A Type 7x7 cable design means that 7 strands of wire are twisted and braided to form 1 strand, which is then combined with 6 more of these to form 49 strands in total. Type 7x7 features a layer of compressed galvanized zinc to help reduce the risk of corrosion.
