The EWCe-2 TIG Filler Metal (2% Ceriated Tungsten Electrode) offers versatile performance for both welding enthusiasts and professionals. Composed of 97.30% tungsten and 1.80-2.20% cerium, it excels in low to medium amperage welding tasks with minimal spitting. Compatible with AC and DC setups, it performs best in DC welding at low currents. This electrode is ideal for orbital tube and pipe manufacturing, thin sheet metal work, and welding delicate parts. It provides excellent arc starts at low amperages and is best suited for carbon and stainless steels, nickel alloys, and titanium. As an alternative to 2% thoriated electrodes, it's not recommended for high amperage use. Compatible with transformer-based power sources for DC welding.
