Forney® EWLa-1.5 1-1/2% lanthanated tungsten electrodes for TIG welding with a low burn-off rate and reliable arc-striking. EWLa-1.5 is the most commonly used non-radioactive tungsten. They offer long electrode life under heavy or pulsing amperage loads. It has the ability to resist thermal shock which provides the user with excellent ignition with a lower burn off rate. EWLa-1.5 can be used for both AC and DC TIG welding with both inverter and transformer power sources.
