The Forney Frontline™ 5A Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer delivers powerful, precision charging for a broad range of 6-volt and 12-volt batteries, including STD: Wet, EFB, MF, Ca, Deep-cycle; AGM; and Gel type chemistries. Designed for automotive, marine, powersports, and lawn & garden applications, this 5-amp charger provides fast, efficient, and safe performance across everyday vehicles and equipment.
The Frontline™ 5 uses smart, automatic adjustments to match your battery’s needs—no menus, no guesswork, just consistent, reliable charging. An intuitive LED display provides clear status indicators and real-time voltage information so users can quickly verify charging progress at a glance. When dealing with heavily discharged batteries, Force Charge Mode gives you added control by allowing the charger to begin charging batteries that might otherwise be below the normal detection threshold.
Built-in protection against reverse polarity, sparks, short-circuits, overheating, and overcharging keeps users and equipment safe, while automatic float mode maintains a full charge without supervision. A stowable hanging hook makes it easy to suspend the charger under the hood, on a fender, or in the shop for safer, cleaner cable management during use.
