DESCRIPTION
1/16 inch (1.59 mm) ER309L stainless steel TIG (GTAW) filler metal. Contains silicon additives which results in improved fluidity (wetting action) of the weld pool and provides a weld less sensitive to cracking. Consists of less than .03% carbon for added corrosion resistance. Recommended for most dissimilar metals. Works well for dissimilar joints that will undergo heat treatment.
