1/16" x 7" EWZR-8/WR 0.8% Zirconiated Tungsten TIG Electrodes, 10 Electrodes

Forney® EWZR-8/WR are 0.8% zirconiated tungsten electrodes for TIG welding aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys. They are composed of 98.6% tungsten, 0.7% - 0.9% zirconium, and 0.5% other, and are non-radioactive. These electrodes handle higher amperage than pure tungsten. The also offer better arc starts, arc stability, and less spitting than pure tungsten. EWZR-8/WR are best for use in AC applications using inverter or transformer based constant current power sources. They are not recommended for DC operations.
