1/8" x 14" E6011 Mild Steel Stick Electrodes, 5 Lbs

Forney® E6011 are all position, deep penetration adverse conditions mild steel electrodes. They are ideally suited for difficult maintenance repairs and are excel on rusty, greasy, poor fitting joints in all positions. E6011 easily welds steels that have been galvanized, painted, rusted, or otherwise contaminated in service. They are easy to use out of position and can bridge gaps as wide as 3/8" (9mm). The slag can be welded over without removal.

Welding Techniques: Weld with a short to medium arc length at low amperage. When surface preparation is impratical, use a medium to long arc and favor high amperages. Multi-pass welds can be made without intermittent slag removal. Use any welding technique from stringer bead to wide weave.
