3/32" x 14" E7018-1 Low Hydrogen Stick Electrodes, 5 Lbs

Forney® E7018-1 extra low hydrogen, moisture resistant steel electrodes for unalloyed construction steels. Used for joining and repairing boiler plate, pipe steels, ship building steels, and cast steels. Excellent for weathering steels such as Corten. E7018-1 is extremely smooth with spatter and turbulence free arc transfer. The coating is totally non-conductive. The electrodes have unusually good AC welding characteristics with easy re-strike.

Welding Techniques: Remove all surface contaminants. Maintain a short arc gap and use a stringer or slight weave technique. Chip slag thoroughly between passes.
